Employers Liability Insurance is a legal requirement for any business which has one of more employees. By taking up a ‘package’ policy along with your other business insurance requirements (e.g. Public Liability, Business Interruption) will often save you significant money, plus make everything far easier to manage (one single renewal date).

What does employers liability cover? There is a chance that your Employees could be injured at work or become ill as a result of working for you. If this happens, they maybe entitled to claim compensation. Employers Liability Insurance covers this cost.

EL claims can be very expensive, so as a result the standard level of cover given is £10m.
